Our Mission Statement - About the Ministry

Shalom Ministry is a unique and new outreach. This mission’s objective is to bridge the gap between black believers in Messiah and the Messianic Jewish community. We believe that as we celebrate our shared history of suffering, both groups will be strengthened to proclaim the gospel “to the Jew first and then to the Gentile.” (Roman 1:16)

Men’s Ministry - David’s Mighty Men

This is a special group of men composed of Messianic Jews and blacks who come together for prayer, support and interaction with each other, to help develop evangelistic projects.

Women’s Ministry - Ruth’s Fellowship

A group of black and Jewish women who get together for prayer and plan special projects for Shalom ministries as in example women’s bible studies, prayer breakfasts, cooking and special projects.

Youth Ministry - Joshua Fellowship

Youth ministry designed to get Messianic and black youths together for meaningful dialog, special projects and fellowship.

Church Seminars

We offer church seminars are designed to explore the Hebraic roots of Christianity. (All seminars are led by Pastor John Denson unless otherwise indicated.)

Messianic Family Seminars
This is a practical and very down-to-earth seminar that is designed to address many of the issues facing families today. Believers attending these seminars have experience amazing results like; families reuniting, men and women understanding their role in the family .

Also discussed and explore key issues such as: dating and courtship, parenting and roles of parents.

Marriage Seminars and Retreats
These specially designed workshops uniquely offered by Shalom Ministry. We explore; the seven basic needs of the husband, the seven basic needs of the wife, personality gifts, biblical love-making, and much, much more.

another very interesting aspect of these workshops is a discussion of the meaning of the wedding when viewed through traditional biblical Jewish customs.

In addition, we discuss; divorce and remarriage, blended families and other contemporary issues facing believers in today’s society.

Passover Seder
This exciting workshop presents the elements of Jewish Passover Seder table and dramatically links this tradition with Lord’s Supper. Attendees will be moved and fascinated with the visual links to the Messiah in this traditional feast that many Jewish believers celebrate today.

Financial Management Seminar
Led by Rabbi Loren Jacobs
This is a practical view on investments and long range financial planning utilizing principles found in the bible. This unique workshop will offer common sense solutions to many of the contemporary problems experience by believers today.

With this powerful information, believers will be able to adopt a program that will be blessed by God’s word and become free from financial bondage.
