Dear Friends,

Greetings in the name of Yeshua our Savior:

As many of you know, Donna and I have been serving the Lord full time for many years.  Our unique calling has been, and continues to be Jewish evangelism, which certainly includes Gentiles as well.  We have always been a faith-based organization and we depend on the generosity of donors who support our work.

Unfortunately, our support has dropped drastically while our workload continues to increase dramatically.

Donna and I do not like focusing on fundraising as it is not one of our strong points.  However, we realize that asking people to contribute is necessary in order to continue the work of Shalom Ministry, which brings us to the purpose of this letter.

First let me share with you that many souls, both Jews and Gentiles, have come to Christ through this outreach.  We have been able to bridge the gap in many ways between the Christian and Jewish communities. We interact with our Jewish friends and hold monthly Messianic services at the Holocaust Center, among other outreaches as well.  This is not an easy ministry – it has been compared to “plowing concrete” by other ministers, especially when it comes to gathering financial support.  We have not yet reached our full potential and with your help we feel the opportunity will present itself to significantly impact our Jewish friends with the Gospel of true Shalom during these troublesome times.

While we are struggling, we humbly appeal to those of you who understand the ministry but have not given in quite some time to pray about giving $50 a month (approximately $12/week) until the end of the year.  If you receive our newsletters, email, or even just talk with us via phone calls we ask that you respond favorably to this request so we will be able to meet our ministry and personal needs.

This is a personal appeal from Donna and me and we trust that you will stand with us during this critical time.  If you cannot commit to a monthly gift, we would be grateful for a one-time donation of any amount.  You can contribute at our website  or you can mail your tax-deductible gift to PO Box 19695, Detroit, MI 48219.

Last but not least, please pray for us that we will stay healthy and that God will provide the energy to continue to break new ground and finish well.  We are thanking you in advance…

Until the Nets are full

John and Donna Denson
